In addition to on-demand screenings of thought-provoking experimental, narrative, documentary, animated short films (each screening was followed by pre-recorded artist Q&A), CSIFF2021 online film festival hosted a live masterclass led by legendary producer/filmmaker Monty Ross; 9 live/interactive panels and artist chats, nightly after parties (featuring the talents of DJ Q-Nice), and on May 23rd attendees witnessed as we presented both the Audience Choice Award, and and Jury Awards (Best Directing; Best Screenwriting; Best Performance By an Actor; Best Cinematography; Best Film) to our winning artists. The CSIFF2021 Jury Awards were sponsored by Final Draft.

She administers heavy-handed punishment, juxtaposed with a lesson in Jamaican history, while sewing a quilt.She struggles with the notion of forgiveness as justice may not be served to her satisfaction by the penal system; ending his life seems more.

Producer/director/filmmaker - Mr. Ross was a part of the vanguard that took the independent filmmaking industry by storm and presented new and engaging stories about the African-American experience that are known throughout the world. As a co-producer, from the early 1980s through to the 2000s, Ross's collaboration with Spike Lee brought to worldwide audiences critically acclaimed films: Do The Right Thing, Malcolm X, School Daze and Keep The Faith Baby (The Life and Times of Adam Clayton Powell, Jr.)
